Keep a radio schedule and archive nearby
A station's schedule and archive can turn a good accidental listen into a useful return path without taking away from live radio.
A station's stream tells you what is happening now. Its schedule and archive answer different questions: who made that hour, when they return, and whether there is a way to hear more of the same program later.
Use the station's own record
The broadcaster's website is usually the clearest source for program names, hosts, and changes to the timetable. It can also point toward mixes, tracklists, conversations, and event pages that a bare stream address cannot carry.
Not every station keeps an archive, and an archive does not need to become homework. It is simply a useful companion when a live hour leaves a listener wanting one more clue.
Make live listening easier to repeat
A small station library works well when an entry can hold both playback and context. The stream starts the sound; the schedule or archive gives a listener a way to return with more intention next time.
